The core of iConnect’s content are the feature articles which focus on specific themes. Throughout 2005, iConnect will focus respectively on Education & ICT4D, Livelihoods & ICT4D, and Governance & ICT4D, on a trimester basis.

The first iConnect feature articles will be published in March 2005. Until then, case studies from the “The ICT-Enabled Development Case Study Series”, a joint initiative of IICD and bridges.org, have been redesigned to fit the iConnect format. This format was designed specifically for this medium, to allow the visitor to harvest as much relevant information on the impact of ICT4D as possible.

In 2005 the iConnect feature articles will also be linked to the Monitoring and Evaluation tool, currently being developed by IICD. By linking this tool to the iConnect articles, a clearer picture of the impact of ICTs in the development sector will become available.
