South-South Exchange Travelling Workshop

The Global Knowledge Partnership has launched a South-South Exchange Travelling Workshop, which will be hosted by the GKP member - the M.S. Swaminathan Research Foundation (MSSRF) from 15-22 October 2004. Information for participants is available here
The purpose of the workshop is to exchange development perspectives between village communities in Tamil Nadu and Pondicherry in southern India and civil societies from developing countries with specific focus on ICT-enabled development. The participants will provide a profile of their organizations and their work, and bring with them presentations (posters, photographs, audio cassettes, Power point presentations, short films, etc.). These materials will be taken to all the villages where the workshop will visit and exhibited to the community. Similarly, the villagers will exhibit their materials to the participants.
