Highlights

The main focus of iConnect is to provide feature articles on the impact of ICT4D. These articles will focus on specific themes, on a trimester basis. However, context information is also helpful in understanding the intricacies of ICT4D issues. By highlighting and providing in-depth information on the theme in question, and a partner with relevant hands on experience, the context and landscape of the issues becomes more clear.

Partners
iConnect is made possible through the collaborative efforts of partners together with IICD. These include regional partners such as UNECA, as well as local partners in the countries IICD is active in. Each iConnect coordinator is an active member of one of these partners.

Theme Focus
Throughout 2005, each trimester, iConnect will focus respectively on Education & ICT4D, Livelihoods & ICT4D, and Governance & ICT4D. Although each theme has been provided with a general introduction under Themes, one theme will be highlighted here and given more in-depth attention per trimester.

eBulletin & News
The iConnect eBulletin provides up to date information on current affairs in the ICT4D sector. However, besides sending out a compilation of news items in the monthly eBulletin, iConnect also presents these news items in this website. These are provided throughout the website, according to the topic of the webpage you visit, as well as an archive. Thereby also enlarging the understanding of the landscape and context of ICT4D issues.
