ICT Stories

The objective of the ICT Stories Project is to capture the learning process that accompanies the introduction and implementation of ICTs in a project in exemplary stories. These stories describe good practices and lessons learned from contributors' experiences.

In 1998, infoDev and IICD acknowledged how important experiences and lessons learned are in the field of ICTs for development and agreed to a partnership to support the ICT Stories Project. In 1991 the Global Knowledge Partnership (GKP) joined the partnership.

In order to gain advantages from synergy, the ICT Stories project partners have agreed to syndicate their content to the iConnect project. By bringing these projects together, the knowledge base is increased and subsequently the understanding of the impact of ICTs for development.
