From One Lap Per Child to One Laptop Per Farmer: A recent World Summit on the
Information Society event investigated the role of low cost computing in
agricultural development, and in particular, looked at the adaptation of
technologies, such as the OX. The aim would be to help local farmers compete in
the global market by allowing them to research market prices and share effective
agricultural techniques, providing farmers with a vital element for success -
